Homeless Monologues - Lincoln Park Community Shelter

Idea  –  Create an impactful short video to preview at dinner auction using footage from a recent production at the Goodman Theater.  Guests were asked to raise their bid numbers (paddle raise) at end of video to contribute to operating fund of the Lincoln Park Community Shelter.       

Challenge  – The event team was planning the 10th anniversary of Metamorphosis and had a $0 budget to produce video that needed to generate $60,000 after presented.  Guests know LPCS is an exceptional resource to those experiencing homelessness., but it was important to pull at those heart strings by reminding them of the many paths that lead to homelessness and how quickly it can happen to anyone. 

Pro-Bono Client  – Lincoln Park Community Shelter

Role – Suggested video idea upon learning about Goodman production. Attended production, interviewed participants and then collaborated with videographer/editor to direct and produce video for event.
